The successor to HTC's popular 2014 flagship, the HTC One (M8), was unveiled at MWC 2015 and we've now had some specific pricing and availability information leak. Find out all of the latest on the HTC One M9 price, release date, specs and features below.
HTC One M9 release date
Update: The HTC One M9 release date appeared briefly on B&H, a large online retailer. The availability date for the One M9 was listed as March 25. The listing was promptly pulled down, but not before a screen grab was taken. With the speed of the take-down we can only assume that March 25 will indeed be the official release date for the One M9 at B&H and other online retailers.
Elsewhere, the HTC One M9 will be released in the UK in mid-late March on all major networks. While every network will get the One M9 in Gold/Silver and Gun Metal colors, EE will initially be the only network to also have the One M9 in gold.
The One M9 will be released in Europe around March 31. At launch, it will be available in two colors: gunmetal gray and silver with a gold frame at the back. Eventually, the all-gold edition is also expected to become widely available.
HTC One M9 price
Update: The B&H listing also dropped the HTC One M9 price: a very attractive 649 USD. While we can't be sure if this figure is final, if it is, the One M9 price is much nicer than we had initially thought it might be.
Based on previous leaks, the European pricing for the HTC One M9 looks to be set at 749 EUR. We'll let you know as soon as we have some UK pricing.

HTC One M9 features
The HTC One M9, like the previous two HTC One generations, comes with BoomSound speakers. This time emulated surround sound is available, either through the speakers or with headphones. Also, "HTC Themes" is a HTC branded app that lets you customize every detail of the Sense interface to your liking, offering an unparalleled level of customization not yet seen on devices without root privileges.
The HTC One M9 also comes with Sense 7, an updated version of HTC's custom UX, with a location-based smart widget that will provide you with the apps you need depending on what time of day it is and where you are at the time. Kind of like Aviate Launcher, it's cool, it works and we like it.
The HTC One M9 main camera has become a 20 MP shooter in this year's flagship, replacing HTC's traditional reliance on Ultrapixels for its primary flagship camera. Ultrapixels are still on-board though, in the front-facing camera, where you can expect excellent low-light performance for dimly-lit selfies.
